A big thanks to our @givit_aus donors for a round A big thanks to our @givit_aus donors for a round of new and refurbished laptops in support of the Afghan Employment Project, seen here hand-delivered by the wonderful Max from GIVIT.
Through these donations from businesses and individuals, our coaches are able to help supply participants overcome their digital barriers many take for granted. For example, some households have number of members but only 1 laptop. Having access to these will improve digital access and improve participation in the job search and employment market.
We’ve already been able to supply 6 participants with laptops in Melbourne, with more to come this week, but more are needed.
